INSPIRE from the data to the applications

The workshop presents training modules dealing with INSPIRE services and data in conformance to the technical guidelines issued by EC, focusing also on pilot applications across several domains. During the session some of the advanced LINKVIT modules available in the e-learning platform (at www.linkvit.eu) will be introduced. Focus will be given on how to manage and validate metadata and data and also how to discover and use data and services provided by national and European geoportals. In the last part of workshop will be presented domain-specific applications related to data transformation and management, such as geology or risk management, as deployed in the eENVplus project integrated infrastructure based on cloud services.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • Representatives of public sector/private companies involved in the INSPIRE Directive 2007/2/EC implementation.
  • Representative of public sector/private companies involved in the implementation of the European environmental legislation.
  • Participants to INPSPIRE pilot projects or initiatives
  • Everyone interested in INSPIRE implementation process

WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of the INSPIRE implementation process or attendance to the workshops of INSPIRE training sessions (Introduction to INSPIRE, LINKVIT training actions, Data Harmonisation and Transformation)
  • Participants should bring their own laptops to test platform examples.
